You’re having a dinner. You’re serving pizzas. You buy some beers. You head over to the wine section and get met by this: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Barolo, Nebbiolo and bla bla. So, we saw an oppurtunity. We chose the fastest growing food segment. ‘Premium fast food’. We did not target wine lovers, but ‘fast food lovers’. We didn’t put the grape variety and illustration on a vineyard on the front label. Neither did we have a romance copy of the heritage and origin on the back. What did we get? Pizza Wine. Burger Wine. Taco Wine. Sushi Wine.

Pizza Wine also won a silver in the ‘Vinordic Wine Challenge’.

We also made some merch. With my dad as the model. He’s first job when he emigrated from Iran to Sweden was at a pizzeria in Bergshamra. That’s where we shot the photos and secretly donated all the profit to the pizzeria.
